The Greeter Ministry is a ministry of hospitality that serves as one of the first points of connection for people entering the church. Greeters help create a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered atmosphere where every person feels seen, valued, and accepted.
Greeters are often the first face and first smile a visitor encounters. Through their friendliness, kindness, and willingness to serve, they help communicate the love of Christ before worship even begins.
What Greeters Do:
- Welcome members and visitors with a warm smile and friendly greeting.
- Help first-time guests feel comfortable and connected.
- Offer directions and assistance when needed.
- Provide information about worship services, ministries, and church activities.
- Assist guests with locating restrooms, classrooms, nursery areas, or other facilities.
- Recognize and respond to the needs of visitors and members.
